Artist's description:

Ever since man had discovered art itself – this may be approximately 42.000 years ago, he tries to express all the things happening around him, in pictures. It is, that we only know our own ancestors from pictures and sculptures. Literature provides the suitable thoughts, actions, descriptions and even feelings and interpretations.
It is out of these fragment s that we construct our imagination how man might have been looking during the 17th, 18th or the beginning of the 19th century, and how they were living. The first daguerrotypie is dated on approximately the year 1826.
Like a time machnine, Andrej Barov subsumes the both relevant ages and moves or changes times and centuries boundaries. Present and near future, seen in one picture and thereby understanding ourselves a little better, this is the adventurous journey to which “Transformers” invites us.

The picture is exposed in a profi laboratory for artists from canvas and mounted on 4 cm thick wooden frames. Image is protected with a protective lacquer.
