Artist's description:

A transatlantic liner caught in fog off The Coast of Death, La Costa de la Muerte, Galicia, Spain. All morning a heavy fog lay over the coast. For one brief moment the fog lifted, a ray of light shone through and a gigantic transatlantic liner appeared. I had a heavy, cumbersome camera on a tripod. I managed to take one photograph, the light faded and the liner disappeared into a heavy cloud of fog once again. It was like a dream. Did the ship actually exist or had it been a figment of my imagination?

The three seagulls obligingly hung around for this one moment.
