I have melange don this piece, my “Blue Nest” Terrace in Menton, together with the lovely view of Vieux Ville” Menton, perched colorfully and full of character, above the Port... This painting is done in a more “Fauvist”, illustrative style that bears resemblance to the work of Raoul Dufy; long one of my favorite French Artists. I mention again here that coincidentally ( Or Not!) that Dufy lived and painted in Three of the Four places that I have lived in France; Paris, Collioure, and Nice. I love the freedom granted in addressing scenes I know and love so well, in a looser, less detail oriented style. Happy, unencumbered, and light; these Three French Riviera Scenes will lighten any room in your home! The canvas is painted around the edges, so can be hung unframed...
