Something particularly eerie about Trafalgar Square today. Because of a Cycle Event they'd stopped the traffic so it was almost silent ..that is until I set up my easel when a group of rhythmical and incessant African Drummers started beating out their patterns at a volume that can, at best, be termed as uncomfortable..they were then augmented, from the other end of the square, by a Rock Guitarist, amplified with a backing track at an even louder volume. It seems that Trafalgar Square, like Nature, also abhors an audible vacuum. Not signed when photographed but will be before dispatch.
