A naive acrylic painting of the beautiful village of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.
It's one of my favourite places to paint with it's colourful houses and incredible setting. The village is set out in a curve right round the edge of the bay overlooking the harbour. The church is especially beautiful with a tall spire and rose window. Bustling and historic, it gets lots of visitors especially in the summer.
The work is drawn with charcoal and then painted in a slightly naive style with acrylic in thin layers on Clairefontaine special heavy acrylic paper.
