Part of the series of semi-abstract figurative stone sculptures I hand-carved on the theme of peace and contemplation. These sculptures are still and restful, some in limestone and some in alabaster such as this one. Alabaster is only suitable for indoors as it is porous, this sculpture is finished in marble polish as a protective outer layer.
