Original artwork description:

This was one of those lovely accidents. I was painting out the existing wet paint with the intention of using it all as a backdrop to another painting on top. As I neared the end I realised it looked pretty damn fine with a patch left unbrushed, so I stopped there. To me it looks like the kind of thing that Kirk and Spock saw from the USS Enterprise and couldn’t work out what they were looking at. You may see something else entirely!

It is painted on artists’ canvas board and would need to be framed before hanging.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint brushed over canvas board.
