Artist's description:

Here I wanted to explore the massive frame of this huge male bengal tiger. At their prime these creatures remind me of bodybuilders and this perspective allowed me to capture that clearly. Huge head and shoulders seem to dwarf the hind legs, even though the latter is closer to the viewer and hence, because of the perspective, should appear slightly bigger to the rest of the body. I employed one of my favourite composition tools of creating a diagonal across the composition. Also, as the title of the work suggests, I wanted to explore the sometimes lazy gait of these otherwise very elegant and nimble creature.

This watercolour was executed on high-quality Daler-Rowney, acid-free, cold-pressed 300 gsm watercolour paper, using Winsor & Newton professional water colours.

The artwork would be safely shipped to you from London in a heavy-duty, wide-width postal tube.
