Original artwork description:

I chose to use this portrait of a Tiger Cub as a symbol of “Portraits from the Precipice” as the Global Warming climate change problems we are facing are affecting not just mankind but also the natural and animal kingdoms.
For too many years we have systematically encroached into nature as we expand and search for more fossil fuels to use. The mining and burning of these fuels has caused continuous accelerated damage to our atmosphere as well as taking away the habitats of many animals around the world.
I feel this image of a young innocent Tiger Cub with sad looking eyes can be used to represent the uncertainty we all have about our futures and the future of our Planet. If we don't make mass changes to lower the impacts of dirty fossil fuels and use more sustainable Greener Energy then all of our futures are in serious peril.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
