I grew up around Henley and was a rower at school. As a consequence I have always loved the river and early mornings (!). It is often the most beautiful part of the day and even more enjoyable if you have it to yourself. The Henley regatta judges boats are beautiful and I have been meaning to paint them for years. I have used Michael Harding oil paints on a very fine Italian canvas. It is quite a large painting and is currently unframed although I could arrange framing if desired.
