This painting is monumental, contemporary and stylish.
It would look particularly well in a staircase or over a mantle.

This painting was a carton for a large ceiling painting commission in northern California.
It is the history of the Three Graces> In Greek mythology, a Charis or Grace is one of three or more minor goddesses of char, beauty, nature, human creativity, and fertility, together known as the Charites or Graces. In Roman mythology they were known as the Gratiae.

I enjoy painting the beauty of the nude human body, which is a classical idea. It is a way of showing heroism and refers to ancient Greek and Roman art where man was shown fearless, shown naked. I find this aspect inspiring and it is what classical artists in the past were trying to depict.

The models for this painting are all Italian women.

As with all my paintings, I pride myself in mixing my own oil paints in the studio and source pigments in Italy.

This painting will be carefully packaged and rolled in a sturdy tube, insured and shipped via express courier. You will be given a tracking number with your shipment.
Once your painting arrives, you will be able to unroll it and have it mounted on stretcher bars.
