Artist's description:

48"x36" acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. A commentary on the battle for equality faced by so many. The circles represent people turning and turning with each other and against each other against the rigidity of the straight lines. Each have "teeth" on their perimeters and illustrate the constant struggle to make the straight lines into "equal signs", but they can never get them to the position of equal. Painted with my fingers, cardboard strips, and drip technique.

Materials used:

acrylic and varnish
