Triptych consisting of triangular shaped canvases with acrylic mirrored edges. This piece effectively brings together several of my primary artistic interests: Geometrical & gestural abstraction, landscape, surrealism and photography. The paintings are a composite of improvised mark making and forms with imagery taken from my photographic works.
All canvases primed and varnished with a gloss finish. Largest canvas consists of cotton canvas stretched directly over frame, two smaller paintings are the same except they feature hardboard under the canvas.
The 2m x 2m dimensions given are a vague idea of the amount wall space occupied by the complete piece. Individual approx dimensions are as follows:
Largest: 172cm x 86cm x 6cm
Middle: 117cm x 58.5cm x 6cm
Smallest: 95cm x 48cm x 6cm
Please note the price shown is primarily for the three paintings. The acrylic mirror shapes shown in the pictures attached to the wall are included with the paintings but do have some marks having been exhibited on several occasions.
