This painting is one of a pair made about the urbanisation of the countryside. This sky has been visibly 'scratched' or rather scarred by the vapour-trail of an aeroplane. This everyday arial scene has been normalised. I do wonder that generations to come will not have the opportunity to witness what we remember of the world in it's more natural forms. Neither one of this pair of paintings contain people or animals, and evoke a sense of stillness. The companion painting to this, is 'Urban Beach'.
This painting is sold unframed at the moment, but framing can be arranged.
