This is my original watercolour of the start of the sea mist starting to roll in on the sea on the cliffs in Cornwall.
A coastal family walk took us from Zennor along the cliffs. I had to stop on the way so many times to capture the light on the water but it was when the sea mist started to appear that I tried to capture the change in light and the way it was muting all the colours in the landscape. It is unframed and is painted in artist quality Daniel Smith watercolours. It is a loose, expressive piece that I hope captures the colours of Cornwall and the energy from the light on the sea.
The image is 40cm x 32cm
