Life is sometimes quite stressful and I like to surround myself with things that give me a good feeling. I find "The window seat" does just that; it is colourful and romantic, with a touch of nostalgia. Another of my "watching the world go by" paintings this large, impressive canvas certainly won't go unnoticed! It is almost entirely worked with the palette knife and I have uploaded a few close-ups to show the thick, luxuriousness of the paint.
The borders are painted black and it is strung at the back so no frame is necessary.
My paintings are very carefully wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap, then sandwiched between two sheets of polystyrene before boxing, brown paper is added to finish off the parcel, ready for addressing and despatching.
In order to reduce shipping costs and avoid customs limitations in places like Australia, I can take the canvas off the stretcher and post it rolled in a tube. International buyers - if your country isn't listed, please request a quote.
