Artist's description:

This charming goldfinch (the collective noun for finches is a sweet is that?) amongst the hawthorn berries- or haws, is aglow with winter sun. Haws are an important food for finches in the winter and this fellow really seems to be relishing a few rays of sunshine on his face.

Painted in the heat of summer as part of my RHS Rosemoor collection I have used wet in wet technique to create a looseness the fruit and add that radiance.

This painting if offered un-framed but mounted with good quality neutral mount board.

A word about packaging and delivery:

My packaging: Your artwork will be celo-wrapped, bubble wrapped and protected by card or mount board.

Delivery: All smaller works are dispatched, first class by the Royal Mail, usually within five days of purchase.
Larger works are dispatched via My Hermes Courier and are usually a little longer to arrive than via the post office.
