Artist's description:

While in Thailand, I visited the Sanctuary of Truth, on the seashore of Rachvate Cape, Pattaya. It is the most incredible wooden structure I have ever seen. The details are breathtaking and you don't know where to look first and most of all, you don't want to leave. The temple itself isn't that old, building started in 1981, with the objective to preserve and revive Ancient Knowledge. Wherever you look, Thai artists build a wooden structure of more than one hundred meters high, with carvings of gods, goddesses and elaborately beautiful designs. There isn't a single space that isn't carved and full of meaning, a history from time immemorial coming to life before your eyes - it is not a only a beautiful place to visit, but a place for meditation. The Sanctuary shows the relationship between human beings and the universe, the creation and evolution of man. If you're ever in the area, take some time to stop for a visit - you won't regret it!
