Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

I enjoy removing the context of the setting from the photos that I am painting from. The idea of Sin Contexto means "without context." I do believe that the attempt to portray anything without context is impossible. We always remove some of the context from a scene because to portray the entire context is also impossible.

Why "Sin Contexto" in Spanish?

Here's the context. With what I know of Spanish, I had a brief conversation with a South American artist recently and showed him some photos of the work I have been doing. To describe one piece, I used the phrase "sin contexto" and it has been continuously resonating in my mind. I find that I hear things in my imagination while I paint and I kept hearing this phrase with this painting here.
