Artist's description:

I met this Rooster as she was performing in a theater production and encouraged her to get together for some location photography. Taking a full grown rooster out onto the street caused quite a sensation.
I decided that she needed a more urban flat background and so we went down an alley alond the elevated train tracks and it was here that I found the combination of subject and location that I was seeking.
It was shot near evening when the sun created a nice rich saturation of colors and by then the rooster was pumped up and ready for revolt.
