Ravens are very smart. They use their beaks as we use our fingers. They point with their beaks to indicate an object. They can use different tools, mimic human speech and different noises. They are very playful and mischievous. They have been seen rolling down snowy hills. Ravens make toys using pebbles, sticks, pinecones and other things.
Many Cultures told about ravens as the messengers for the gods. Odin, the Viking god, had two ravens that flew around the world and told him about what they saw. Some Native American tribes worship the raven as a deity.
Ravens can live in a variety of habitats. They eat almost everything. They are capable of feeling empathy. They have excellent memory. Ravens mate for life and live in a fixed territory. Teenager ravens create gangs.
Ravens can live up to 40 years in captivity. They are amazing birds!

Please note that the colors of the original paintings are always slightly different than it appears on monitors.
