Original artwork description:

As I was approaching South Queensferry on a July evening the sight of this bridge took my breath away. As so often happens at this time of year the sky was very dark in the east but the sun was shining on the fields and highlighting the supports of the bridge and I just had to paint it - here is the result! The composition is continued on the edges of the canvas allowing the painting to be hung without a frame if so desired. Although sold unframed there is also a photo showing how the painting can look when framed.

Materials used:

stretched canvas, acrylic paint
