Artist's description:

This is a work in encaustic and indian ink, using a positive-negative technique similar to the used in Batik work. The only color is black, but there is a great variety of greys due to the different superimposed layers of ink washes.
The image is a continuation of a series of pictures representing the moon and trees. I find the night fascinating, once you get used to the darkness one can actually see a great deal and the fact that the light is different from the daylight makes everything seem new, fresh, a different vision.
