"The Octopus" is original limited edition work from printmaking technique of dry point. This limited edition was made in 5 prints, of which 2 are available. Dry point technique is giving very precised lines and beautiful clean prints.
Ink color: black etching color.
Paper color: light beige.
Idea behind the work: Having the need to create more and more water creatures and exploring more about them, I came to a conclusion that we share a lot with animals. I picked an octopus as highly intelligent creature as mind in this peace. It is places on top of the head on a female figure, which represents capability, intelligence, never-ending mind and commitment for family.

Please note that dry point print is original piece of art and it has different meaning than prints made and printed digitally.
Printmaking is traditional fine art technique that is producing multiple originals and all prints made in one edition are numbered and signed by the artist.
