Artist's description:

This piece involves a significant breakthrough in the study of the world of Maximalism, this time in the form of a large mural that fuses mixed media with a barrage of paints to create an organic/inorganic experience. The process for composing this piece is even more complex than all previous pieces.

First, the conceptual sketch was composed, detailing the overall structure and flow. Due to the size of the piece, this required several sheets of paper. Next, color codes were assigned to each and every shape. After this phase, certain shapes in the conceptual design were cut and painted, in addition to other shapes being designed graphically. The process for painting the piece involved carefully arranging the various array of media with the painted portions of the canvas for surgical precision. Several layers of various paints were applied to the canvas in both structured and “free-form” methods. This piece serves as an example of the various levels that can be achieved by applying various techniques or approaches to the world of Maximalism. In addition, this piece serves as different viewpoint of Maximalism and the infinite possibilities to come.
