I think most artwork is biographical. Some of it is deep, some of it subconscious and some of it just anecdotal slices of life. This piece speaks literally of our recent canine acquisition: a Lab/Chesapeake puppy given to opinions on the daily agenda. On the other hand, it's also about my own personal evolution: the greater Spirit within, totally unperturbed as my own surly personality balks at the pace and path.
