Artist's description:

Inspired by watching a Horse Trainer calming down a nervous Horse on a deserted beach near Busselton, Western Australia. I was on holiday with my family and eventually after the Horse had settled the man led him into the ocean where they swam together. I had my camera with me and knew I had captured an image to remember when they were together in silhouette against the sparkling sea.
Nicholas Evans, the author of the Novel 'The Horse Whisperer' owns the first original art work I made of this scene and this is what he said.
''My son gave me this exquisite picture when my health was at a very low ebb. There is a still serenity about it that I found very moving. It captures the essence of that gentle trust that can exist between a man and horse. I'm well again now and often take a long look at Amanda's picture on my office wall.''
