Original artwork description:

An impressionistic Scottish mountain view of the rugged peak of the great Herdsman of Glen Etive or Buachaille in gaelic. Painted in a loose gestural style in muted autumn colours of greys and ochres. In this moorland scene I have tried to convey the atmosphere of this wild and dramatic area of the highlands with its, grey skies and changeable light shining on the moors and small moorland burns, waterfall and streams.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 22.5" x 22.5" (58 x 58cm) canvas on board, framed in a modern contemporary square profile white limewash frame, with cord ready to hang.
