This is an appropriation of the artwork 'The Guitar Player' by Jean-Baptiste Greuze 1755-60 71 x 56cm. I haven't seen the original in real life although managed to copy most of it from a small book. The appropriation is based on the object that the guitar player is holding, in the original he holds an actual guitar and in my appropriation he holds a computer with Logic Pro X open which shows tracks; differentiating between then and now.
Mix between romanticism and surrealism.
This artwork is one of my hand-stretched ones and always sold with hooks ready to hang!
