Artist's description:

Painting: Acrylic on Wood.

My daughter kept asking me to paint her a painting in black, white, red and silver. As I was starting it, she moved into a new house and totally changed her decor and colors. She loved the painting, but the black and red simply don't fit: in her new house and I decided to keep the painting. My daughter now wants a light blue painting:-) So, here is this painting "The Gift" or maybe it should be called "The Gift That Was Finally Not Given".
It is on a firm cradled wood panel with sides painted black. It has some highly textured petals and the falling petals give it life and movement.
It has been varnished to protect it from dust and it is wired, ready to hang and enjoy.

Materials used:

acrylic, metallic paint, acrylic gels
