What's not human, for example, animals, are often seen by some as not just being different, but being 'sub-human' and therefore available to exploit. It's often the case that 'sub-human' acts are actually committed by humans. The fact is are that we know absolutely 'not-much' about what we are, or where we come from, and what we're for, and want to dis-believe the extraordinary explanations that we are given by people who think they can help. I think when we truly find out, we will plead ignorance, as the truth will be too overwhelming.
This painting has been painted over another. Not knowing what was underneath (a series of abstract patterns) helps us understand that all we are looking at is a surface, and just like an iceberg, with hidden depth, we and everything on this planet, are merely a tiny fraction of what the universe is about.
The painting is on a chunky canvas, this makes it of a lighter-weight to transport, and is ready to hang with fixings on the back. It can be framed if desired. The depth of the canvas is 4 cm , with the edges painted black. The painting is gloss varnished. At the moment this painting is on offer for quick sale, if it doesn't this month, it will go on to a higher price, this allows for any storage costs or exhibition costs that have to be covered by myself. Thank you so much for looking at my work. :-).
