Artwork description:

This image shows a detail of the magnificent Flying Scotsman which I have seen in the National Railway Museum in York. I am always fascinated by details of the trains there. I love the solidity of the engineering and the incredible shapes in the various parts of the locomotives. There is a surprising of variety, depending on the age of the train and also where it was made. The wheel of this train is about the same height as me!
This is a handmade Linocut print and is number 8 out of an edition of 24. I print my Linocuts by using my etching press and print them onto handmade paper. The image size is 16 cm wide by 16 cm high. There is a border of 3-4 cm around the edge to allow for framing. Each print is signed and numbered and comes packaged in a stiff, water proof envelope. I use Royal Mail to send artwork abroad and it is first class and tracked postage. Small items are sent first class with no tracking within the UK. If I find I have overcharged for postage and packaging, I refund the difference.
