Artist's description:

“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
― Henri Matisse

I grew up in the countryside, always outside in the garden or exploring the great outdoors. I love flowers so much -no matter what is going on around them, they just continue being beautiful. They can grow in the most desolate landscapes, amongst scenes of war and bitter destruction they bloom as a gentle reminder of quietness, beauty and peace. They do not clamour for attention, they just quietly bud, flower and bloom, beaming at all, and asking nothing in return. I think we can learn many a lesson from flowers.
