A somewhat abstract photo of moving water which I call "The Element of Water". Water is one of the elements in ancient Greek philosophy, in the Asian Indian system Panchamahabhuta, and in the Chinese cosmological and physiological system Wu Xing. In contemporary esoteric traditions, it is commonly associated with the qualities of emotion and intuition. It was taken at a small stream near the Savage River in Denali National Park. A few days after I took the photo there were several interactions between hikers and a young Grizzly Bear. One hiker was injured, but not severely. Its title is "The Element of Water", but its flow also evokes the element of Fire.
The measurements of the actual image size are accurate. The base dimensions are not exact, but are unimportant because there will be plenty of space between the image and the edge of a matte.
The premium watercolor paper it is printed on has brilliant whites and provides beautiful contrast. The texture gives a "painterly" effect.
It is signed and numbered on the margin outside the photo image.
Giclee print on bright white textured watercolor paper.
