Artist's description:

A fantasy scene based on a Roman Aquaduct which can still be seen near Acco in Northern Israel. There is at least one other remaining, partially ruined ,Roman aquaduct in Israel- at Caesaria also by the coast.
I depict in this Naive artwork, a man- either sleeping or not? There is lush scenery around him, and also a snake, which symbolises - being easily led astray!
The Electricity pylon symbolises (in my mind) humanity, overtaking nature and, often, destroying sights of natural beauty.
