Artwork description:

The Dragon Cave is a sea cave on the Dumfriesshire coastline near Sandyhills. The cave doesn't appear to have a name, it certainly doesn't have on the OS map. My son and my Dad named the cave when we explored it in the spring of 2017.

The final print is my attempt at capturing the view of looking out from inside the back of the cave, to the bright sand and sea outside. Adding the figure at the mouth of the cave give the eye something to focus on, whilst also giving scale.

All my landscape art is hand printed in a limited editions. This screen print is built up through four layers of color, starting with the orange and finishing with the heavy black layer. The print is signed, dated, titled and monogrammed.

This is a handmade product, colours and layout may vary slightly between each image in the edition.
