An outstanding area of natural beauty, the Dornoch Firth is situated in the North Eastern Highlands of Scotland.
Scottish Landscape has it all! Mountains, lochs, wonderful beaches and fantastic vistas. Such is this spectacular place. The colours in early autumn added a warmth to the cooler blues and greys of the vast sky.
Drawn in charcoal and painted with layers of thin acrylic from a spot high above the Firth looking north. All en plein air !
