I love it when something unexpected comes into view. I did a lot of work on octopuses when I was younger and I still have a great desire to get back to that work. This painting, unknowingly, became a study of octopus eggs hatching. It is a brilliant and fluid moment when they all start cresting their sacks and float free in the water.
This is certainly my impression and what I saw...you can dare to see something else, at any point, always, with my work.
