Artist's description:

This work was originally inspired by the story of Parzival and the Grail quest. The King is encountered fishing upon a dark lake, in a land that is suffering due to a wound. In my work I often consider the relationship between inner affliction, and the destruction caused to the world in which we live. The twist with this story is that in recognising the nature of the wound, lies a tremendous potential for healing.
