Artist's description:

The “damp and the dry” started off with a spiral pattern that reminded me of cactus and how they grow and the colors in tide pools. I like the dichotomy between the colors of damp and the colors of dry. There is a constant feeling of botany and branching going on in this painting and were patterns meet and overlap. It is airbrushed and painted first stretched to the wall before going on a stretcher. So the painting covers the sides. It is ready to hang.

Materials used:

Acrylic painted and airbrushed. The painting wraps all around the stretcher.

The damp and the dry. (2017)
