Original artwork description:

Watercolour on acid free watercolor paper 190gm, 21.75 x 14.75 in., 55.5 x 37.5 cm
Another from the archives, finally photographed and uploaded after all this time.
This is based on a fantasy story idea that was percolating in my head at the time. I was travelling a lot in parts of Asia at the time and the story idea was to recount my experiences with an added twist of fantasy, humor, and a fair bit of soul searching. I was also to move around on my travel bike as I did in real life. But in the tale I and the cycle dissolved to reappear on a different setting and circumstance for the next step of the tale. In the process there is the trying to figure out the how and why this magic occurs, and a spirited floating muse with whom I dialog.
The illustrated story never panned out, bet there are some related paintings and sketches which I have started to catalog. In real life I did marry that muse, and we are settled in our little magical place on earth….
The close up picture gives a better feel for the paint and brush stroke. I also have a picture of the sketched illustrated prequence to the painted scene. It helps to puts the scene of the painting into context. That penciled page can also be available as a separate order.
