Artist's description:

In architecture, a crypt (from the Latin crypta from the Greek κρύπτη kryptē "hidden vault") is a stone chamber or vault beneath the floor of a burial vault possibly containing sarcophagi, coffins or relics. This ancient hidden gem in the West Midlands area of England made me think of all the stories it could tell and what horrors has it seen in the bloody past, a challenge to capture the image , hand held in just the natural light - available in various sizes as a canvas or on paper, please contact me for details and prices. All display images are low resolution to protect copyright.
