Artist's description:

This painting was previously part of my private collection and has not been available to purchase until now. It is a semi-self portrait, but more so an existential human scream to the forces rising around and against us. The city is beautiful, but almost factory-like rising in the background. The colors are inspired by the works of Miro and morph from a city skyline into a beautiful pattern that surrounds the figure that shouts up into the sky. It is almost a cry for help and a call to action at the same time. I believe the theme is more relevant than ever these days with all of the turmoil around us. The only way to make change is to get fed up and lead by example.

Note: This painting has been cleaned and varnished to bring out the original color and to protect the painting. This was the painting that inspired my collection of poetry and paintings "The City Will Rise" that you can find on my website.

This painting is signed on the front and ships in a cardboard box and is hang ready, but not framed. The buyer will have the choice of picking out the right frame for this piece. It ships and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
