This is an original, one of a kind oil painting, by the talented Bulgarian naïve artist Bogomil Arsov – Paco. Yet again the author brilliantly demonstrates his unique and recognizable style. Bogomil spent his childhood in Cuba and Guatemala and this experience has greatly shaped his creative work. The beauty of this painting is in the simplicity of the composition and in the expressivity of colors. The largely modulated woman with a “baked” face is presented from an unusual angle, like she is delicately floating in the air. This personage emanates serenity, mildness and vitality. She is not troubled by the world’s problems. She lives in the moment, in a state of total and active attention on that precise instant when she has caught the fish. The woman is so organically linked with nature. She is one with the sun, the earth, the ocean.
