Artist's description:

Who doesn’t like a mystery?

I quite regularly see ripped off hair extensions (at least I hope they are extensions) hanging from tree branches or in the street, to me they look macabre and sinister. They have found their way in to this painting, though I’ve made them look prettier here.
The two detectives were picked up from a tv-series, the cinematography of which has always struck me as especially eye-pleasing. This scene of them sitting in a pub stuck to my memory, so it got added as well.
The boat is a “church boat”.( By the way, not used as a symbol of church here) Back where I come from they used to make these huge rowing boats they called church boats. Why exactly, I have already forgotten. I always imagined it to be because they were used to row masses of people to the church every Sunday, but I am not sure.

Why this particular ensemble to make this particular painting?...Well, that’s as much a mystery to me as it might be to you. Hope you enjoy it.

Acrylics, gouache and pencil on canvas panel. 40x40cm, apx 3mm depth. Sides painted black. Not ready to hang. Would benefit from framing but can be hung as it is by using hanging strips or similar systems as the panel isn’t heavy. Somewhat glossy finish. Colours may look slightly different in real life than on screen.

Please note: custom charges and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the responsability of the buyer.

Many thanks for taking a look!
