A watercolour sketch of a holiday boat ride in a river resort in Dandeli, Karnataka, India. Kali river flows in Dandeli where holidaying can include whitewater rafting too.

The stretch of river is covered with dense forests, inhabited by wild animals and the rapids make the rafting experience exhilarating, adventurous and memorable. Boating, Kayaking, and Bird watching are the other adventure activities in Dandeli. Our family trip several years ago, when I was not tottering on my feet, was very enjoyable and I tried river rafting too! It was truly thrilling! I wish I could go back on a time machine!!
