This is the third in a series of seascapes working with this style within the square format.
A painting inspired by observing a specific sunset just a few minutes away from my studio in North Wales. Observing the sunset until the sun disappears below the horizon I took note of several elements from different stages and blended these elements together.
This artwork is created on a 16x16 inch canvas with a slim edge which is also painted on all four sides and does not require framing.
This painting changes when viewed in different light, angle and distance to the canvas as the numerous multicolor 'dashes' of paint create a vibrant optical illusion of depth a movement.
