Artwork description:
This is a linocut print of a striking and lovely big tree found alongside the 'Rosewalk' path in Saltburn.
Version 2 of The Big Tree is an original linocut print, using two blocks of lino to produce the final image. It is a limited edition print with a run of 50 prints using heavyweight UNICO Fabriano cream paper and Lawrence oil-based printing inks. The image size is 42cm x 60cm and the paper size is approx 53cm x 76cm which gives a generous margin to allow for framing.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork. As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube.
