The Behemoths is an image from my ongoing graphic novel project, The Boy with Nails for Eyes. The image is from the book's first chapter.
The image was created by drawing the town itself (in the lower third of the image), which was rendered using pencil, inkwash, chalk, charcoal and acrylic paint. This was scanned into Photoshop, where the digital elements in the upper two thirds were added using original photographs and digital painting.
