The Aviator III is a sequel.
In the foreground the flight of an airplane while another is down, little fellow down there, near the top edge of the canvas.
The sky is moved, like the sea, as in the bad weather.
Airplanes shelled; nothing is clear, everything is eaten away by the air.
The planes are at war. And 'in war the frame and the canvas. All the work is at war, it is dirty, ugly, even bad.
